THE ASSESSMENT

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOU CONTACT US?

A member of our team will contact you to confirm your initial consultation.This is a Getting to Know You consultation during which the doctor will aim to rule out other factors before considering ADHD.

You can bring any supporting information or previous assessments to the appointment if you wish. 

"Getting to Know You" initial consultation takes between 60 to 90 min consultation.

At the end of the initial consultation, you will receive a diagnostic Psychiatric Assessment Report with a Treatment Plan.

Our doctors, being medically qualified can prescribe medication at this point if required.

You don't need a GP referal to be seen by one of our team. 

​

You can receive an appointment for assessment within a week, which is much faster than other providers.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT ADHD ASSESSMENT?

After your general Psychiatric assessment, the psychiatrist might suggest and ADHD assessment.

This assessment takes between 2-3 hours. 

​

During this assessment, the psychiatrist will go over your medical history,

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOU RECEIVE YOUR ADHD ASSESSMENT REPORT AND TREATMENT PLAN?

After you have received your ADHD Assessment Report and Treatment plan, you can access ADHD support.

This is especially important for children as formal diagnosis will enable the families to receive support from the school, NHS and the local authority.
