If you are facing a life threatening emergency, call 999 now.
Do you need urgent help?
As a remote service, we recognize that our platform may not be suitable for everyone. Our primary focus is on patient safety, and any concerns are promptly addressed.
While we can provide assessments and treatment when deemed safe, please note that we are not equipped to handle emergencies.
If you find yourself struggling or feeling out of control, seeking immediate expert assessment is crucial to identify the best course of action and prevent deterioration.
Crisis support
If you've been provided with a Crisis Line number by a health professional, please make use of it. For those currently under mental health support, adhere to your Care Plan, which contains contact details for crisis situations. If you're unable to locate your care plan, reach out to your Community Mental Health team for assistance from your care coordinator or duty worker. If you don't have a care plan, contact your local crisis support services (find the nearest service by clicking this link).
Your GP
If assistance is needed, your GP should be your initial point of contact. Your GP will guide you through accessing the most suitable NHS service. This may involve waiting until the next working day, if feasible.
Local A&E
If you find yourself unable to ensure your safety or that of others and require urgent assistance, go to the nearest hospital with an Accident and Emergency (A&E) Department. The Mental Health Liaison Team is available 24/7, 365 days a year to provide support

If you need help but don't feel you are in crisis?

If you're not already connected with local mental health services, the Samaritans offer a confidential and free helpline for anyone in need of someone to talk to. Available 24/7, 365 days a year.
